How Do Day and Night Blinds Work?
Day and Night blinds have an inventive design that works whether you’re looking to darken for sleep or enjoy the light of the day. As they are rolled down the alternating strips of fabric move from a solid block of colour to a set of stripes on a continuous loop allowing very precise control over the light and the amount of privacy. The continuous loop is easy to move as the blinds are very lightweight and the chain can be plastic or metal.

Thanks to their simple unique design day and night blinds are only slightly more expensive than standard roller blinds as they have double the material, but with the huge added benefit of privacy and light control which you won’t get with standard rollers so they provide excellent value for money.

Are day and night blinds good for bay windows?
We don’t generally recommend them for bay windows for the same reason we don’t recommend other types of blind. Vertical blinds work best for bay windows as they can bend to shape of the window easier but it’s really up to you.

Generally, we recommend inside the window recess for Day and Night Blinds. Both options are ok but the common reason to fit outside for other types of blind is more light control which you have already with day and night blinds but it’s really up to you.
